How We Share Google User Data:
We are committed to protecting your privacy and do not sell, rent, or trade your Google user data to third parties. We only share your Google user data in the following limited circumstances:
AI Service Providers:
- We share email and calendar data with AI service providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google AI) solely to process your requests and provide AI-powered features within the app. These providers process data on our behalf and are contractually obligated not to store or use your data for any other purpose.
- Data is transmitted securely and processed transiently - AI providers do not retain your Google user data after processing your request.
Service Infrastructure:
- We use Firebase (Google Cloud) to securely store minimal cached metadata (email subjects, dates, sender names) for app performance. This data is scoped to your account and deleted when you disconnect your Google account.
Legal Requirements:
- We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or governmental authority.
What We Do NOT Do:
- We do not sell your Google user data to any third parties
- We do not share your data with advertisers or marketing companies
- We do not use your data for targeted advertising, retargeting, or interest-based advertising
- We do not transfer your data to data brokers or information resellers
- We do not use your data for purposes other than providing and improving Marcus AI functionality
Your Google user data is only accessed when you actively use Marcus AI features and is used exclusively to provide the services you have requested.
Data Storage and Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal information. Your data is stored using Firebase and other secure cloud services. We use encryption to protect your information during transmission and storage. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Third-Party Services
Our app integrates with third-party services including:
- Google (Gmail, Calendar)
- Microsoft (Outlook, Calendar)
- Apple (Sign In with Apple)
- Slack
- OpenAI, Anthropic, and other AI service providers
When you connect these services, you are subject to their respective privacy policies. We only access the data necessary to provide our services and in accordance with the permissions you grant.
Data Retention and Deletion
We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to provide you with our services and as described in this privacy policy.
Google User Data Retention:
- Cached metadata (email subjects, dates, sender names) is stored in Firebase only while your Google account is connected to Marcus AI
- When you disconnect your Google account from Marcus AI, all cached Google user data is automatically deleted from our systems
- AI service providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google AI) process your data transiently and do not retain it after processing your request
Account Deletion:
- When you delete your Marcus AI account, all associated personal data and Google user data is permanently deleted from our systems within 30 days
- You may request immediate deletion of your data by contacting us at info@cettechventure.com
Data Retention Period:
- We retain your personal information for the length of time needed to fulfill the purposes outlined in this privacy policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law
- Authentication credentials and account information are retained only while your account is active
- Usage logs are retained for up to 90 days for security and service improvement purposes, then automatically deleted
When the data retention period expires for a given type of data, we will delete or securely destroy it in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

You have the right to:
- Access your personal data
- Request correction of your personal data
- Request deletion of your personal data
- Withdraw consent for data processing
